Worshiping, Witnessing, Working...Together

Welcome to Bethany! - We are meeting again on Sunday!

Bethany Baptist Church was established in our neighborhood over sixty years ago. Our worship services emphasize the clear preaching of the Bible, prayer, loving fellowship, and theologically sound music that is a blend of traditional and contemporary hymns. We believe that God sent His Son to die in the place of sinners and to offer forgiveness and eternal life to all who turn to Him and trust in Him. The New Testament calls that the Gospel – “Good News!” We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and sufficient to address every issue of life with complete authority. We seek to be a "Go & Tell Church" as we pursue the Great Commission.  We strive to provide every member the opportunity to grow in God’s grace through a better understanding of the Scripture, encouragement to holy living, and by reaching Sedalia and the world for Christ.

Our Mission @ BETHANY!

Our mission is to walk in love and make disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ as God’s Word equips us to worship, to witness, and to work together.
(John 4:23-24; Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:11-16)
